Aminé x New Balance Biblioteca 2000

Rapper and style icon Aminé has officially unveiled his next sneaker collaboration with New Balance: the Biblioteca 2000, slated to release on October 3, 2025. After previous takes on the 740 and 610, Aminé turns his attention to the ABZORB 2000, a Y2K-era silhouette rooted in technical running heritage. The model features full-length ABZORB cushioning paired with ABZORB SBS pods for enhanced comfort and support. Its futuristic design is highlighted by an acid green upper with glow-in-the-dark outsoles, a glossy finish, and custom co-branded packaging inspired by the bookdrop at Portland’s North Portland Branch Library.

In addition to revealing the shoe, Aminé has invited fans to take part in a community-driven initiative tied to the release. He’s encouraging donations of books to Portland’s Biblioteca at 207 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd for a chance to win a free pair. Supporters can donate until September 10 and tag Aminé in their posts or stories as proof of participation. Priced details are still under wraps, but sneaker fans can expect the Aminé x New Balance Biblioteca 2000 to officially drop October 3 via New Balance and select retailers.
