Marc Jacobs’ Spring 2025 Ready-to-Wear collection, unveiled at the New York Public Library, redefines fashion with exaggerated silhouettes and whimsical details. Titled “Courage,” the collection challenges norms through ballooned skirts, sculptural sweaters, and asymmetric tailoring, embracing distortion as a form of artistic rebellion.

Footwear leaned into fantasy, with elongated, elf-like boots and sharply pointed heels, prioritizing expression over function. Sequined dots on models’ lips added a cryptic touch, hinting at themes of silence and resilience. Historical influences, from Marie Antoinette to Betty Boop, were reimagined in voluminous trapeze and hourglass dresses, blending nostalgia with innovation.

Closing with a dramatic red puffy dress, Jacobs delivered a powerful message: fashion is more than aesthetics—it is a fearless act of self-expression.
